I began my career in health and fitness in 1997 and since that time I have built up a wealth of expertise and experience as a health and fitness professional. Having the benefit of being trained by some amazing professionals and pioneers in their own fields combined with my own ideas allows me to optimise on my clients requirements to reach their own goals and even surpass them.
Keeping a healthy mind is extremely important to me so with my thirst for knowledge I maintain this by constantly learning to find the fastest and most effective practically proven methods to enhance my training. I believe applied knowledge is key to personal training so my clients feel the benefits of what I have learnt to great effect.
Being extremely diverse in my training approach allows me to deal with your requirements whether wanting to lose body fat, increase muscle mass or recovering from injury I can devise a plan of action to suit your individual goals.
As person I enjoy life to the full. I lead an active way of life and put my heart and soul into all that I do to achieve the results I want.
Seeing my clients achieve their personal goals, is why I choose and still am passionate about my career path as a health and fitness professional.
I love the human body, I always have done!
From the days of my youth dancing at the school of the Northern Ballet Company or spending hours each day ice skating training in the early mornings when most other people were still asleep; to Loughborough University to study Sports Science in the days when it really wasn’t a multi-billion-pound industry; to teaching future generations anatomy, physiology, and physical education; to sports massage, and to soft tissue and rehabilitation therapy.
I mix circuit training with weight training, I swim, I dance, I train outside whenever I can, I love to ski… I’ve had my fair share of injuries and found brilliant people to help put me back together again.
The resilience of the human body continues to amaze me. I feel grateful that I can use my wealth of knowledge in a practical way to rehabilitate soft tissue dysfunction, relieve pain, and help to restore functionality, to become one of the people I relied on in the past. I’ve come full circle, back to doing what I love!
