Nutrition is key to physiological and psychological health

With so many fad diets and quick fixes flooding the market it is easy to be confused about what is a good and what is a bad diet. The public receives mixed messages and conflicting information making it hard to figure out what exactly is the healthy thing to do!! Annoying yes?!
So at New Mission we take your nutrition very seriously in order to aid you in achieving your goals and increasing your ability to become a healthier happier you.
We do this by asking you for a two-week food diary of your existing diet as well as going through lifestyle questionnaire to assess your nutritional health profile.
This allows us to assess and personalise a nutritional programme to suit your individual requirements.

Ask your self these questions

10 key points for a healthy weight loss

  1. Eat protein at every single meal (and snacks) size of palm of your hand

  2. Eat unlimited vegetables * they are nutritional powerhouses, full of fibre that will make you fill full) eat as much colour as possible

  3. Don’t be afraid of fats! (¼ cup of nuts per day, ¼ of Avocado per day)

  4. The forbidden ten of most people potatoes, rice, pasta, beans ,cereals, bread, sugar, alcohol, dairy and fruits (only for the first 14 days then some of the 10 maybe introduced back in)

  5. Eat every 3 hrs

  6. Drink lots of water (drinking lots of water helps hunger and cravings) weight lbs / 2 =ounces per day to drink

  7. Lose the stress and increase the sleep ( flight and fight) cortisol decrease and DHEA will increase)

  8. Don’t eat after 7pm (hornonaly increase insulin and fats do not oxidise therefore breakfast eat like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper. Eating more in the morning cell are more insulin sensitive.

  9. Exercise every single day! (fat burning mainly take place in the powerhouse called microcondria which are mainly within muscle cells therefore increase muscle increase in fat burning)

  10. Take your supplements!
